Waiting to be stranded

Last Saturday while in the staging lanes at Rockingham I could not get the T/A restarted. I had just made a run and turned it off while waiting on track officials to give me the go ahead for another run. It seemed to have power to everything but the starter and acted like the clutch wasn't pushed in. I had my brother give me a push, popped the clutch and it started right up. I drove it around to the parking area to look for loose wires. I didn't find anything wrong and it has started everytime since.

Any suggestion on what to check/change or do I just need to drive it to failure and hope I'm not in the middle of the boonies?

By the way I did make my first run in the 12's prior to the starter issue.

did you happen to notice if the security light was on? Could also be the switch on the pedal.

ditto, i've had a few issues with my security system. some reason it wouldnt start up. i disconnected my battery and let it sit. it started right up afterwards. happened to me 2wice

I believe that the security light was on but I was trying to get out of everyones way at the time. After push starting it there not lights and it's not done it again. I haven't scanned it for any codes, would a security problem have left a code?
