hmm...that flexplate looks like it has some wobble to it. Looks like the starter ring is wobbling the most

i have a few more clips to show.. it's slow uploading but hold on..

the drivetrain moves at the rear where the transmission mount is. the mount could be bad letting the drivetrain move making it seem the flexplate is wobbling.. but reguardless, it does look like it's wobbling. i checked the trans mount and it "looks" ok, but it might not be.

i have some video of the crank, so bear with me.

i had some video looking down the y pipe, trans that bc i could see the y pipe and trans move around. i was trying to show that on video but i did'nt pick it up i guess. i assume a stock trans mount will allow the trans and pipe to move, but i'm not sure how much.

Just like the flexplate, depending on how you look at it, it almost looks like it wobbles. It looks like the bolt and inner ring are wobbling, but the outer ring looks straight and true.

thats all the video i have for now. the other clips are to big to upload. but there is really nothing in the but some video looking and the balancer with the motor not running.

some spots on the balancer you can see that black ring sets inside slightly and pokes out slighty in areas. i'm no expert, but i would'nt think it would cause this much of a problem. but i'm going to get a shorter video looking at it so someone with more know how can judge it better then me.

just a thought, but could the crank get warped somehow? is there a common problem found on ls1's warping cranks?

Any updates on this? I'm really curious to what you find, since my car has a seemingly similar vibration.

my 98 ws6 with 125k miles had similar vibration all gears but overdrive. installed new poly trans mount, vibe still there, i then lowered the cross member with longer bolts and spacers to compensate for the taller mount. the torque converter is the culprit, installed trans additive for t c shudder by dr tranny vibration gone. gust trying to help -WINGMUN-

not of the crank but hey..

i was laying on the ground and had the car running. seems like the drive train moves around a lot still at idle. while i cant see anything visually wrong with the mount can you guys spot anything?
