    Vette headlights

Recently replaced stock headlight bulbs on 02 Vette with Silverstar Ultras . Light was pointed about 10 feet in front of car. Had to adjust them up so much that high beams are up in the trees .. Any suggestions?

So, what you are saying is you had minimal light on the road? You will have to re-aim the headlights back to the way you had them prior to making the adjustments. It could be the way the light housings are made as well. The reflectors could alter the light pattern as to minimize the brightness going into oncoming traffic. Also, are your lenses plastic? And, are they yellow/hazy? You might have to polish the lenses in order to increase the light output. If the answer is no to the previous questions, start looking into HIDs. There are also aftermarket projector beam kits for the C5 as well.

the ultras are exactly the same as your OEM's just brighter! they will have no effect on the detection of the light at all now if they got installed cockeyed or something then it will change the projection! i replaced all of my headlights, highs and lows with Ultras and didnt have to adjust my lights at all....

Going HID it is a MUST to adjust the lights to prevent from blinding people, thats y everyone recommends "projectors"
