    vent controls

hey guys ----I finally got my ac line from gm parts direct that was on back order (i broke it trying to install the new camshaft). I took the car to get it recharged and it blows cold BUT my vent controls are messed up. It only comes out the defrost vent. I know they run off vacuum but i cant seem to find the line that goes through the firewall. I replaced the intake and deleted the egr and air stuff so i have some misc vacuum lines laying in the garage. Any imput would be great. Thanx

check the line on the back of the intake. There's a really small line that T's off back there. Probably unhooked.

Theres only 1 line coming off the back and It goes to the brake booster. Im sure i can tee off it but ill have to reduce it down. Problem is i cant find the line that goes through the firewall? there has to be one there somewhere right?

Look for the vacuum line that goes towards the passenger side near the PCM. There's a check valve there with a connector that might be off too. It's the smaller line in the pic.

great pics cutlass! I have a pro products sheet metal intake and it only has 1 line coming out of the back but there is a separate penetration for the electrical plug. The small line coming out under that plug as seen above does not exist. can i tap into the larger line going to the brake booster?
