I would guess VATS, a relay on its way out, or a starter in its death throes.

my bet on this one (assuming by "normal" you mean your security light is off) that it's a relay sticking. Try swapping that starter relay with your air pump relay and see what happens. It could also be a loose/corroded wire on the battery or your starter solenoid sticking.

the light is on when i open the switch (security ) sthe car starts after few secons is gone..
could it be the relay on the engine bay?
i remeber i opened my hood last night and i slamed it kinda hard,, could it be the relay is half way out or something?
cuz after few trys it starts up fine..
the car has power and everithing i dnt think it could be something related to battery, i could be wrong

Time for bypass?
I replaced my ignition cylinder and have had no problems in 3 years. I also keep no other keys on the key ring except the car keys as preventative maintenance.

I had the same problem. Last month.
The cylinder inside the switch. Abd I have the same problem as before.
The mechanic is coming to check it out for the warranty.
If he dnt wanna do it I'll ask for my money back.
And by pass it
