    Valvoline SynPower $.99 a Quart!

Kragens is having another rebate special. $3.49 a quart and a $2.50 rebate on the first six quarts.
The problem is I don't know much about this oil. I run it in my wife's car and it seems to work well. However, I don't run oil samples on her car and am unable to verify results.
I asked Sarge about this oil last year and he told me not to push it past 5000 miles. Kragens may also be running a rebate special on Quaker State Advanced, and I know nothing about it.
Sarge if you are out there: What about these oils?

Just change your oil (doesn't matter what brand) every 3k-5k (depending on your driving style) and you will fine.........

I change my oil with Pennzoil Platinum every 5K, and send my oil samples to Blackstone Labs/ My wear results are great.
What would really be great is a sticky comparing all the performance oils and their TBN. There is so much hype out there, it is easy to buy snake oil, or worse yet Mobil1.
