Used cats
Ok guys. I need the passenger side cat
I found it here.
I talked to my mechanic bout gettin a used cat to do the smog check
I tought bout just look for a good used cat and that way pass the emissions test
What he told me that used cat don't work
So now I'm confused. Is it true?
Or he's just sayin that
If the cats were good when they were removed they should be good when we put them back on right?

I thought the same thing
But this guy said that and he confused me
So if the cats don't rattle or anything they are fine right?

I will think that they could get clogged also and won't let the emissions pass or get filtered correctly...

My car is a 00 camaro ss with 120xxx miles
So I'm sure the warranty is over
The previous owner said they were changed almost 2 years ago when it had 114xxx miles on it
And he said after that he got 1 year warranty on the cats
Is that the warranty after the cats are replaced?
