I would hold on to them a little bit. Last I saw they were only going for $30 a piece. That's way down over what they were over the summer. I'd hang onto them and let the price of platinum go up.

with the new smog laws coming in cali they will be like gold

it's more the price of platinum that drives the value of them up and down. Platinum was way up over the summer but has since bottomed out. It'll rebound though eventually.
