Turn signal swivel?
Hey everyone, tried doing a search on this w/ no luck. Has anyone seen this before? Any ways, my turn signal stalk was gettin a little difficult to engage one day. Then finally somethin inside the column snapped, 'cause the stalk just went limp. I figured it was the turn signal switch assem. (cam) that broke, no sweat right? So I go in to swap it out, and I find this small metal swivel that joins the (bolted to the) signal cam to the turn signal stalk (swivel). Here is a diagram and a pic.
Has anyone else have this happen?!?
Oh yeah, the car is a 2002 Camaro...

Anyone know if you can locate this part at a GM dealer? My T/A is ripped apart and i just found out that it is the 4.) actuator...the site doesnt list a GM part number. Any help would be appreciated.

Hmmm... Lucky I'm still subscribed to this thread Lol. When I recieved the part from GM Parts direct I didn't even use it ( I ordered 2 of them). I (carefully) TIG welded the old one back together. Anyways the part number is GM# 7827038 "ACTUATOR". Hope u can still get it from a dealer... If not PM me and I can sell u one of mine.
