    Turn signal socket replacement

    Hello,
I am wondering what is the best replacement for a defective passenger side turn signal socket? Is the $4.00 general replacement just as good as a GM replacement? Is there any advice that anyone can give me on doing this job?

    Thanks

I think it depends on how it's installed. Use solder and dialectric grease when replacing the socket and you should be good. Also inspect the housing for gaps/cracks that could allow water in and ruin the socket.
