turn signal return spring
anyone know just how far down in the steering column the turn signal return springs are? how do they sit...etc. basically looking for any and all info that i can on them.
i suspect that my left return spring is busted as when i turn on my right turn signal it comes back and turns off automatically after the turn. when i turn on my left signal the wheel comes back around and the signal stays on.
this is what has me thinking that it's the return spring. i have a steering column out of a 96 monte carlo and i checked the numbers and the return springs are all the same so i can use those...if i can find them. or i can order them at work for $5.

Everything should be at the top of the column.

hmmmm...looks like i'll have to do a lil more digging. i can get return springs, but i don't have a listing for a cancel cam at work...not that that doesn't mean that the car doesn't have it and i just can't get it.
