    turn signal problem?

So i noticed my right front turn signal was out so i went to change the bulb and notice the bulb had blown and the connector appeared to be kind of black and the grease looked to be fried a bit. i went a head and changed the bulb and it worked when i tested it but went out as soon as i put everything back together so my question is do i need to replace the connector or is their maybe just a bad connection due to the fried bulb grease and if so can i just clean the connector with some brake cleaner or something?

The same think happened to mine..I had the clear signals and water was getting to the connector.I put a dap of rtv around the connector to seal it to the housing of the light. Hasn't went out since (blew out twice before using rtv)

if the socket is in bad enough shape, you need to change it. im pretty sure they're the same as firebirds, and you can get them at the parts store for about $6. inspect your housing very well also, because there is probably water getting in somewhere.

If I can get the socket for $8 I'll probably just change it. Is it hard to change the socket?

ok i just checked my bulb before i bought a new socket and when i turn my lights on the bulb lights up but when i turn my signal on it doesn't blink it just stays lit. still a socket problem or something else?

also i just checked my hazards and they all flash but the passenger front. possible flasher problem?
