Yes, rear O2 sims will do so. As far as what setup to use, that greatly depends on how much money you are willing to spend. Since your car is lowered, you'll likely have clearance issues on the street, especially with a true dual setup. Personally, I don't like lowered F-bodies for the street for that very reason. For the strip/track, that's another story.

the rear o2 simms will only stop the codes associated with the rear o2s if you are not going back with cats and getting rid of the rear o2s.

as far as ground clearance goes, it depends on what brand dual exhaust you go with. the bassani tru-duals, it did not decrease my ground clearance at all. mainly because the muffler is in the stock rear location. you go with duals that dump before the axle, then you have less ground clearance due to the mufflers that are now under the car.

Thanks, I really want it loud but not like a pulp wood truck, what sounds good? I would really like something nice.....with an easy install, shops around here are not real good with custom exhaust. off the subject, do you know if you can paint torq thrust II's or do they have to be powdercoated? i want them like the berger cars.

My buddy has L/t's with cutouts and true duals with one chamber flowmasters and dumped beofre the rear axle. His car is not lowered, but the only problem he has is the cutouts scraping on hard bumps. He also put in an x-pipe.

My car is lowered 2.5 inches.I have long tube headers leading into a 3.5 inch y pipe that dumps into a single 4 inch exhaust with a cut out.Sounds awsome.I had to grind about a 1/16th of an inch off the pipe at the rear yoke for clearance. No probs other than that.

Nice setup, Zboner. Now that's a true dual setup with no clearance issues. But such a system ain't cheap. What did that cost you?
