    Tri Pod Gauges

I have been thinking about getting these for my 2001 t/a for a while now. I am basically doing it for looks, my question is how hard are they to hook up? My previous car is a 1969 nova so all the gauges were mechanical, pretty simple. So is there some kind of wiring diagram, and by the way I will probably go with oil pres, water temp, and maybe trans temp. Or do i just splice the wires to the stock gauges? thanks in advanced Daniel

idk why u'd use two gauges you all ready have but w/e. neway, the oil pres sender is on the back of the motor behind the intake. there are temp sensors in the head. and trans temp you will have to install a sens.

I'm sorry but I strongly dissaprove of pods just for looks especially when you want to put guages that you already have in them. That in a word is VERY ricy.... you know there are better options... if you would go with a dual pod and put a trans temp. and say a wide band or soemthing atleast then you're getting functionality for your $$$

I thought that the water temp on trans am were bullsh** anyways, and gauges aren't rice dude, bodykits are.

Ya I have a 1969 nova 383 no juice 450 hp, dont tell me what rice is, the trans am is my daily driver!! so there is no use for a wide band.

I have a triple guage pod waiting to be installed...I'm putting Intake Temperature (kinda cool to know when you have Ram Air), Lateral Gs, and Air/Fuel Ratio.

your temp gauge must be screwed up. mine works fine... widebands are only helpfull in boosted/nos cars where a/f ratio is critical under wot... trans temp, oil temp?? pyrometer/egt?? fuel press?? cyl head temp?? differential temp?? water pressure?? nos pressure (if needed)?? vaccum/boost (if needed)?? Just some suggestions... it's your car

98 is the only temp. gauge that is somewhat accurate.

whats inaccurate about the temp gauge... I was only aware of the lag or lateness on the tach... nothing else... is it just slow to react?

you have a tach on the triple pod? Thats weird you would think it would be too small to really see.
