Transmission swap

I was wondering if I can use a GTO m6 in my camaro. I know I can't use a corvette on but if I can use the goat one, is it worth it? And is it worth it to just buy a used good tranny or should I just rebuild mine? I know my one of my gears are bad and all of the syncs thanks.

GTO has stronger internals and different gear ratios. but imput shaft is different adn would need changed out. the shaft is longer. also the bellhousing is different and uses a smaller starter. now with the right mods ot trans you can run one

or you can buy from one of hte companies a GTO spec'd T56

So could I just like swap my bellhousing and input shaft out with the goat one?
