How many miles on it?
It could be the torque converter is starting to slip.

^ This. Now that your engine is at full operating capacity, your trans may be too weak for the engine's power output. Since you have an automatic, when was the last time you had a drain/fill or trans flush? Have you ever replaced the trans filter? Just something to start looking into.

Did you add the appropriate amount back in? Checked the fluid level while the car was running?

I just looked up those codes. They are throttle position sensor related. The PCM is probably going crazy trying to keep the air/fuel mixture even in order to keep the engine running.

TPS is just 2 bolts on the TB cost about $60.
You seem to have 2 different problems here.Last edited by SMWS6TA; 03-08-2012 at 09:01 AM.

Without seeing the car in front of me it's kinda hard to help.
ok, let's start fresh. Here is what I understand is happening now.
@ idle it surges up high.
While in gear it revs to 3500-5000 before it shifts.
You're getting codes for the TPS, but you already swapped it out and are still having problems.
1st - Have you gone over and checked to ensure all of the wire harness are connected?
2nd - this may or may not be a help but...
Do me a favor - check your voltage gauge. Is it below 13 volts?
Next check the alternator - is it covers in power steering fluid?
I ask these because when my PS pump leaked onto my alternator it caused it to go into "limp" mode. The PCM surged the motor to 3500-4500 rpms trying to trip the alternator to charge the battery. I had to use another battery to get it home. Once I swapped the new alternator all my problems went away.
If you check this it will help in eliminating a possible problem.

I think it has already been posted somewhere but "new parts" do not always equal "good parts". They can also fail shortly after installation or not work right out of the box.

the volts you posted are slightly low. Should be charging around 14-16 volts depending on what cycle it is in.
I'll wait on the answers form the other questions.

one more thing there is a small thin single wire that connects to the top of the alternator. Make sure that is connected.
