    has the bump stop been flipped and adjusted or has the blade been drilled?

    What Orion means here is, has the throttle stop screw been adjusted or turned over, and/or has the ventury blade, (or butterfly as some call it) been modified?

    If it is in limp mode, you need to replace the alternator..

    Maybe a ported throttle body that didn't go well?

    still haven't answered the question....was ANYTHING done to the throttle body to get the car to idle?

    Once the PCM goes into limp mode it forces the car to idle at a very high rpm. What this does is shock the alternator to charge the battery. At lease in theory that is. Only way to clear with the PCM is to disconnect the battery for about 30 mins. When mine went into limp mode I had to swap the battery. When I did that and the 30 min time out it came out of limp mode and let me have enough time to get the car home.

    I've had alternators pass a bench test but STILL FAIL under load. That is why bench testing an alternator doesn't always detect a fault.



    Did you check to see if you have any PS fluid on the alternator yet?

    none, i got it check out and the tuner said the P0121 is common cause of the cam, and the trans is gone. my spang for my 2nd gear is broke or damage, i have no 2nd gear. so is a level 4 rebuilt kit good? or a level 3 trans im only pushing 400rwhp
