Are the tr55 plugs really better than stock?

I have installed the tr55 plugs in my TA twice since I had it and I am yet to notice any difference in the idle of performance. If there is no difference I might as well go back to stock and get more time out of the plugs.Have anybody truly noticed any idle or performance change?

They are copper tip plugs which conduct electricity better than platnum, however they do not last as long. It is all personal preference.

I like to change my plugs every 2 years, because of the dissimilar (sp) metals between the plug, and the head.
