Went 160 on St Rd 7 about 3 months ago. I could have kept going but I would not have known how fast I was going! Need to get that gauge conversion kit.

Isn't topping these out part of regular maintenance?
Maybe this weekend I'll have my new LS7 Clutch, Strange rear-end with 3:91 gear, and BMR Torque Arm installed. I have EFI Live and a Mustang Dyno so I'll be able to recalibrate the speedo to match the gear. Since I can peg the speedo already, I guess I'll have to use the GPS for real-time.

107 ftw!!!!, lol thats all mine will do, anyone know why? yeah, its a v-6, go that, ive got a pic if anyone wants it,

i shift out of 3rd at about 90, and 4th only gives me about 15 more mph, it wont go over 3400rpms. its not acting like i hit a limiter, i get there, and if i keep pushing the peddle, nothing happens, till i almost have it on the floor, then it downshifts back to third and redlines. its almost like its either looking for a 5th gear, or 3500 rpms tells the PCM to downshift, like it does if im crusing at lower speeds and need to pass someone.

    I don't know...but I'll race you in my Cobalt!

Something is way jacked. I have never owned a car that wouldn't do at least 110 and that was 4-banger, Corsica!

    I looked it up:
For a 6-cylinder it says the most likely reason for speed limitations are 1) no ground effects, 2) no chrome on the fenders, 3) no spinners, and 4) not shiny enough! It says hanging one of those crystals on the rear view should give you 5 more mph!

But that is for serious block circling. I wouldn't do it w/o a 5 point racing harness!
