Probably a small hole...any tire place will fix it for like 12 bucks. Could also be the valve..have them check it. My front tire was loosing about 18 psi every other day...was a small hole

Use some detegent mixed with water and spred it over the tire and stem you will see an air bubble rise .then you can plug it.

only 4 things can cause you to lose air. punctured tire, faulty tire stem or valve core, bad bead, bad rim. start easy. check your tire for a puncture or slice. then replace your valve core, or valve stem. if niether of those take care of it, its time to bust the tire off the rim and check the bead and the rim for damage.

Okay, maybe I'm not a genius, but how do you replace a valve stem without pulling off the tire?

With a tire machine you push the bead in and put in the new valve stem-you can replace the core by unscrewing out the middle thing with a special tool-a valve core tool-very inexpensive. There is another possibility that hasnt been discussed here and can be hard to find without looking very closely. The alloy wheels have a tendence to corrode or get a build up of stuff around the inside of the rim around the bead area. You have to clean this off with a wire brush (on a drill is faster) until the surface is smooth and then we use something in the shop called bead sealer(who woulda thunk) to prevent any more leaks from occurring.Look closely with soapy water as has been discussed previously.

I've had the same problem on occasion over the years. Nearly every time it was a value stem or a very small hole. One time it was from minor damage to the edge of the rim.

    Thanks Guys

I'll take it in to a tire shop and have them take a look at it.

If you have aftermarket rims it could also possibly be a small pin-sized cast hole in the rim itself. This is not uncommon in cast rims, Be sure to also spread the detergent water over the rim both on the outside and inside.
