After the wreck. This is 5%. I love the look but it is a little too dark. I had 8% on the car I had before this and liked it better.

My wifes camaro is super dark all around. I'm certain it's illegal, as a matter of fact, last year I had the back window redone and they told me the doors were way to dark and told me they wanted to correct that.
Told them to leave it alone (I bought it that way), We've been driving it like that for years and never a ticket, I don't really worry about. Honestly haven't even thought about it in a long time.

Guess it could have alot to do with the area you live. Or maybe they are just seeing an old fart getting out of the car and figure I'm not a contributor to the crime percentile

It's hard for me to tell either way. I've seen it done on others. I don't bother with mine. It's looked fine for over a year now, and it's cheap to redo it (only cost $60)
My main concern was to just keep the sun off my son in the back seat. It's more about function than cosmetic for me. Don't care what it looks like so much.

Scuff the black dots with steel wool before tinting and it will stick better. I had a car tinted one time and the black dots peeled. I scuffed them up before tinting again and never had a problem. Had the car for about 5 years after that. When I had the Camaro done I scuffed it before tinting, never had a problem. Had it for about 8 years.

I hate it most all the time Too bad though, seems a light tint doesn't hurt anything, and the cops can still see through. California,,,who can explain it.....

yeah, you can't even see though it...just did it to mine a couple weeks ago, and it looks a lot better imo...it doesn't affect when you're looking through the rear view mirror either cause its at the the top of the window anyway.
