    Time to replace the radiator

My radiator is cracked or something on the driver side and is dripping water. An autozone radiator is 100 bucks. Ive never replaced a radiator on an ls1 car so im sure its just like any other car. But is it a total PITA or is it not too bad? Ill probably end up doing it but if its a pita ill get it done somewhere. For people who have done it is it a pain?

never took one out either but it looks very straight forward. drain is easy to reach and there is plenty of room there to remove it.

its not bad. take airlid and radiator support out. Remove hoses. Remove fan's electrical plugs. Remove fans. Remove radiator. Like they said it should like 1 hour or so.

it took me about an hour and i took my time, had a short lunch break also. It was simple, probably the easiest thing ive done on the car LOL. I just pulled the whole AC/radiator/Fan assembly out, It was a lot easier because at first i couldnt get the damn fan and radiator out. The radiator i bought had an extra outlet for a smaller hose on the driver side all the way at the bottom so if you buy an autozone radiator make sure you buy a cap while youre there and cap it off so you dont have to make a second trip to the store like i did!
