I seen them online too but they expect you to send in your old one for a refund, by the time you pay shipping it's not even worth it, so we'll see what this local place has and what price.

They are kinda heavy to ship. Not even sure how shipping companies feel about shipping stuff with acid in it. I guess they do it
I haven't had to buy one since I've been here in AZ going on 3 years.
I used to get mine local in Ohio at Hamlet. They were the only carriers of ACdelcos and other ACdelco parts.
I'll eventually have to go on the hunt out here in AZ for a local ACdelco supplier when the time comes. Usually a good autoparts store that sells genuine ACdelco parts will also carry the batteries. Places like Autozone, Pepboys, or Advance likely won't have them.

I just pulled a 9-10 year old AcDelco out of a Cadillac today. If the terminals don't fall out, they can last quite a while.

I have heard on the G8 sites that Odyssey batteries perform much better than the Optimas. They have a cool 5 minute video on their about us page showing how they make the batteries.
