    You can look up the diagnostics for your year at gearchatter.com, but the first thing to check is for a missing/loose/defective gas cap.

    I'll do that man thanks. I'll get a new gas cap anyway. Mine looks a little worn and its probably cheaper than the other part would be.

    My girlfriends Cavalier keep throwing that code, kept clearing it. New gas cap has kept it off and the o ring didn't look that bad.

    Same with my sister's Cav. I keep clearing it and making sure no other codes have came up. I'll get to the gas cap one day...when my give a damn catches up.
