Throttle cable???

Well i just did the bump stop mod to the camaro, and now have realized that my throttle plate in not actually hitting the bump stop when the accelerator is fully depressed from the inside the car. Watching my voltage meter im only hitting 4.5, when i should be getting the 4.7 im reading when i fully open the plate by hand. Ive found a lot of old threads about this, but they all refer to some sort of plastic piece used to adjust the slack that is along the line somewhere. I have looked and not found this piece. My car is an 02 so im guessing that was for earlier model years. Any ideas on where to take the slack out?

I was wondering the same thing. Guy who worked on my TB mentioned it.. do you have TCS?

No TCS, but i do have cruise control. There is a little plastic piece similiar to the one everyone talks about at the end of my cruise control cable by the throttle body, but i have tampered with it with no luck. When i pull on the cable by hand, the pedal comes up about two inches off the floor.

No TCS here... I havent really checked if its open all the way when at WOT by pedal... by I probably need to check...

Ill wrap up and get a flashlight and see what i can find in a few.
