    FAST 78mm THROTTLE BODY #54016

I have the stock GM 78mm which ported and polished myself. From what I have read it will support in the area of 500HP in respect to flow demands. My car will never see 500HP. I personally like the Fast TB for under the hood look but expensive. Gains are repoted as 5-7 HP but all mods are accumulative by nature and will add to the total (not "seat of the pants" for one) in the end.

Which vehicle had a 78mm TB? Just curious.

as far as your question I would just port your stock TB(75mm) it will work fine. Stock tb is actually more around the neighborhood of 72mm once you port it will be closer to being a true 75mm TB.

    oops....You guys are sharp

You guys are sharp (it's 75mm). While we are on the subject. When you buy an aftermarket 78 or 80mm is the outside diameter same as stock and they are removing (honing) the inside of the horn/intake only to make those numbers? Wonder if I were to get the 80mm in the future it would accept the SLP smooth bellows I have. Might be too tight if the outside diameter were to change.

I believe the outer lip of the TB is larger and honing, I personally dont have one of those TBs so I cant say for sure. So I dont think the smooth bellow would work.
