throttle bodies/traction control
Are there differences in throttle bodies between cars that have traction control and cars that don't? Mainly in the throttle/cruise linkage? I bought my car after it was in an accident and the cruise module was smashed. I have since put on a fully ported throttle body and no longer have my original one. I just got a used cruise control module and the cable is different than what the TB I have now will accept, I was wondering if maybe the TB I have now is off of a car that had traction control and the module is off of a car that didn't, I can't figure out why there would be difference. Thanks,
Andy

not sure on all the differences but some TBs use 2 cables and some use one. Has to do with traction control or not. There are also 2 different throttle cams on the 98 to 2002 f bodies. One opens slower than the other.
here one with 2 cables
Heres one with 1 cable

The throttle bodies in those pics looks the same. The hookup for the cruise cable uses a plastic fitting on the end of the cable(the first picture) the cruise module that I got has a cable with an end that looks just like the end of the thottle cable. I wish the chrome cover was off of that thing by the battery in the third pic so I could see the linkage. Maybe the cruise module I have is for cars that have traction control. Thanks guys.
