Thread Locker on Fuel Rails

This is a discussion on Thread Locker on Fuel Rails within the General Help forums, part of the LSx Technical Help Section category; I'm putting together some aftermarket fuel rails and was wondering if this product would be enough for the fittings. http://www.performanceonline.com/sto...cat=654&page=1...

    I used the teflon stuff.

You want thread sealer, not locker.

If the adaption of the fuel rails use a "conical" end AN fitting, it will seal itself when the fuel line is installed, if the fuel rail fitting end is not conical, I would use thread tape that is made for oil and fuel.
