Thinking of putting Oil Temp & Trans Temp gauges

Are there existing sensors that can be used - car is a 1998 trans am, automatic with iron block ls2? How difficult to install? Car has a 3200 stall and I just like gauges - any suggestions on brand and good location on car?
    Thanks

There is a port on the driver side of the transmission where you can install a temp sender. Good idea to have one with a high stall converter. I also went with a wideband and a fuel pressure gauge. All my gauges are Autometer digital (cannot recall the series) and they look and work great.
