    isn't that what i said

The only advantage the Cobra has over the Z06 is the ability to put up big dyno numbers. Handling/stability, top speed (aero advantage), braking, fuel mileage, driveability, option content (HUD and dual zone climate control are nice), resale value and reliability all go to the Z06 without question. But what about acceleration? Your "average" built Z06 would consist of a heads and cam package with the supporting mods, and heads/cam packages these days are getting good, as 470+ RWHP is not uncommon. The "average" built Cobra is a pulley and ported blower with all the supporting mods (or even a KB swap) and often put down around 550-600RWHP. Price for each is nearly the same, and the Z06 while down on power has better gearing, aerodynamics, a big weight advantage - simply put they make better use of the power they have. Its not uncommon for a Z06 down 100RWHP to a Cobra to out-accelerate the Ford - in fact, its nearly expected. IMO, the blower whine the Cobras produce when modified is cool at first, but gets old real quick. A cammed LSx never gets old

I would go with the Cobra...... I have customers with both so I drive both of them.
First off I can put 2 or 3 girls in the Cobra NOT the Vette.
Second with minor mods I get way more power out of the Cobra. With just a Lighting pulley swap and a small kit your looking at over 600Hp at the tires.
Not to mention the rocket TQ. of the blower.
Third I have more fun driving the Cobra on the street than the Vette.I get to spank alot more people on the street. In the Vette usually no one wants to race or play around.
Your on the wrong site to get some real opions.Your dealing with mostly GM freaks on here. I would go to the drag strip and talk to people that have both now.
    Good luck.
