tcs
98 ta i have no tcs switch. when i turn the key on the tcsoff lite pops on so i know the lite works. but when car is running, lite is off so my question is is tc on i have no switch so i dont know

Well mine doesn't have ASR/TCS, no switch, and ASR OFF light doesn't come on on the instrument panel (Is that what you mean?) just turning the key on. Look for RPO code "NW9" on the drivers side door or sensors at each rear wheel to see if the car originally came with traction control.

You have no tcs. Just like the skip shift light is on all gauge clusters as well. a4 or m6. Generic manufacturing
