    TB Bypass Hose I used

I did the Throttle Body bypass mod. Bought a connector and all, and got it all put together, but realized I didn't like how it was. Mainly because it could rub on the rotating assemblies below it.

So I got a different 5/16" hose from my garage. It looked different in appearance and material than what I pulled off the car originally, that is why I am asking these questions. Here is what it was.

    On the hose it says:

Gates 4219LC FUEL LINE PCV/EEC 5/16 INCH PERFORMS TO SAE 30R7 MADE IN USA M06149 B"200

Will this be sufficient to run the coolant through? Like will it withstand the heat required for being under the engine and all? Will it withstand the pressure?

I have looked it up but cannot find the exact specifications for this exact hose on the internet. Also, I may not know exactly what to be looking for.

    Thanks

Regular fuel hose works. But if it bothers you then you can always step up to fuel injection rubber hose with a much higher burst pressure, or even transmission line rubber hose.

I just used a zip tie to one of the wire harness near it to keep it off the rotating assembly.

Awesome, thanks for the replys guys.

It doesn't worry me that it is what I am using at all. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something I shouldn't be using.
