    Stupid Question I know..

Sorry for this ignorant question so don't flame to bad.

I was just curious of the minimal, if any, gains over being stock, I have from the free ghetto mods I have done to my z28.

    It is a '99 z28 a4.

1.) Drop in K and N air filter.
    2.) Free ram air mod.
    3.) De-baffled stock airbox lid.
4.) Stock y pipe with pipes in place of cats.
5.) No muffler, exhaust is dumped before rear axle.

Yes, I know these aren't exactly considered "modifications", atleast not in my eyes, but they were cheap! lol

Just looking for opinions please. Don't be shy, it's not going to hurt my feelings at all as I know what I have done isn't really shit.

    .5-1hp maybe?

Not stupid at all. Many folks start their HP gaining with free mods so what you've done is a good place to start. Minimal gains is better than zero gains

Like he said ^ not stupid at all. We all have to start somewhere. I would suggest dumping the K&N. I've heard some negative stuff about sucking their (filter grease) in and damaging things. I would throw the paper one back in there.

I have a WIX paper filter still in the box in my garage somewhere that I need to find hidden under all my shit somewhere and replace my K and N with it.
    Thanks for the response.

Agreed on the K&N. I personally still have a K&N in my TA and it turns black within hours. Go paper or Amsoil.

    PS not a man. Thanks
