streering wheel
When I purchased my 2001 Camaro she came with a couple of extras, one of which is an extra steering wheel (SW) which I wanted to install today...when I looked closer I noticed the SWs were different. The one that came on the car once airbag is removed the top of the SW has a recess on that the top of the air bag assembly fits into...the extra SW doesnt, it's straight across at the top. Secondly the SW on my car has two torx head bolts that hold the airbag assembly, the extra SW has four torx head bolts that hold airbag assembly...I need to try and find out what year model the extra SW came out of so I can try and sell/trade it for one that fits my car...sorry for rambling just trying to explain best I could.

1999 Formula WS6 M6-sold- 2001 Silverado Z71
you probably have the 98 SW or maybe older. Got any pics?
from one of our stickys
1998 F-body
Steering wheel controls were completely different part with indentations on the buttons, and were better built
1999 F-body
Midyear model change to a cheaper steering wheel audio control button without finger indentations, and cheaper built
