    Stock Rotor Question

Just wondering how long our stock rotors last?(2002 WS6). Also at what mileage should you have them turned? Keep in mind I am a light braker. Any help would be appreciated.

Phhhh. The rotors on the f-bodies are pretty crappy. Good luck going over 10k miles, but until they warp you have no worries. I have an automatic so that puts a little more demand on the brakes than if you're a six speed. I upgraded to power slot rotors a while back and they are better than stock but still warped on me after a year or so. After turning them about nine months ago they are showing evidence of warping again. ARGHHHH!!!

Well, evidently slotted rotors can be. The shop reported no problems turning them and they seated back in nicely. I don't see why cross drilled would be any different.
