    Stock Alarm not working?

I bought my car back in November and I've noticed the little red light on my dash does not flash, and my car does not honk or give any confirmation that the alarm is armed when I lock it with the key fob like my friends Z28. Is there any way to re-enable my alarm? I've had it go off seemingly randomly once, but I can't reproduce it.

I don't know if it's a VATS issue or if you have to set the car up to honk upon arming.

If you have the owners manual it tells you how program the FOB's and how to activate some functions. If you don't have the book let me know i will look it up for you.

I looked through the online manual that 2001NBMZ28 linked and got everything configured how I want. Thank you both for the help.
