    still running funny

ok guys so i have been having trouble with my car and a vacuum leak since i changed to a ls6 intake...well i think i have fixed the leak...but now the car constantly searches for idle..all under 1k...and when i brake and then go idle it almost stalls..and when i am idling and go to throttle there is a big hesitation and then takes off....i know it sounds like a vacuum leak but its weird..this all only happens at Closed loop...when its cold..it idles a little high...about 900-1k ...i dont know..i am at wits end with this car.

Where was that previous vacuum leak? Did you replace the coolant pipe or try to squish the intake down over the existing LS1 coolant pipes? New intake seals? What have you tried?

the previous leak was coming from behind the intake..went to get it smoked and that is all he could tell me..the thought from underneath..so i replaced the gaskets....i bought the ls6 coolant line with the plugs..and made sure to break off the tabs on the knock sensor wires...i later found out my pcv line had two tears in it..so i fixed those..and it immediately ran better...but now its just acting funny durring those situations..not all the time like before..id really like to get a scanner on it and log and see if i am running a vacuum leak still

almost sounds like a fueling issue to me except for the high idle. Have you cleaned the maf recently? I'm kinda confused when you say it's doing it. Cold or warm? I would imagine you've had the intake and air tract off a few times chasing it down so it wouldn't be a bad idea to go over everything with a fine tooth comb and look for something you may have missed. Are your vents inside the car working fine? There's a small vacuum line at the back of the intake that's fairly common for people to miss. A sign that's left off is the vents inside won't work.

Did you re-do the idle learn after repairing the vac leaks?

does it do it at all when it's cold? Do you have your rear O2's you could swap up front to test? That bog and hesitation sounds like a fueling issue to me but I could be wrong.

not really..the idle will bounce a little but not all that bad...its about 8-900 rpm...yea i might have to do that..wot fueling feels good ..there is no lack of pull up top.

Any codes, previously set or new?? Almost sounds like it could be the IAC valve, if its stuck it could possibly produce the effects you describe. I would take it off and make sure its not clogged with carbon, could just be a coincidence that it started acting up when you installed the LS6 manifold. If you had a GM Tech II you could command the IAC to a certain postion and then see if it reacts accordingly, its a great test to see if you have a faulty IAC.
