Still misfires but no codes
Hey guys. Well my SES light came on for 2 codes. One saying the cat was bad (its gutted out) and another for random missfire. Now the light went away but the car still missfires. However it only does it when its cold. Once the engine reaches operating temp it starts acting funny. Every1 said check plugs/wires but there on super tight. I dont wanna loosen them and have another problem. Could it be the EGR?? Iv narrowed it down between EGR and the cranckshaft sensor. Hopefully is minor but what else cud it be. Oil is fine, no leaks, fires right up...??? What can it be. I pulled my hair out trying to figure it out. Iv also had ALL my friends check it out and we still dont know. Maybe a new fuel filter??

happiest person alive!!!! I took a closer look along with a few friends and low and behold the #1 plug was 3/4 way out. Turns out there was some crud between the plug and the boot of the wire. I removed it and it fell right into place. There is a pop once in a blue moon but thats cuz there is what looks like sand in the #2,4 plugs. Ill pull them out tommorow and hopefully it shud be all gone. Dam do i feel like an idiot LOL
