Steering Wheel Sticking
Whenever I make a sharper turn my steering wheel gets heavy. It kinda sticks in place and have to put a little muscle into it to straighten out. When i get it "unstuck" by turning the wheel the opposite way it will "release" and It's normal... untill i make another turn. (FYI, it doesnt even have to be an extremly sharp turn)
I was thinking maybe it was my rims (18x9.5 up front... 275/35/18 tires) but I've noticed a lot of people on the forums have 18" rims so I seem to be at a loss. Any Ideas?
Thanks

You may have a problem with your rack and pinion or power steering pump. You need to jack the wheels off the ground and see if there is any binding. Check power steering fluid levels and top off if low. If no binding while up in the air you may have bad upper strut mount bearings. You need a sharp alignment guy to help there, he can put it on the alignment rack turn plates and check for binding with the weight on the front wheels. Sounds like something is sticking to me.

Any noises or clunks that go along with the issue?
