steering rack replaced p/s fluid turned red

I just replaced the power steering pump the steering rack the outer tie rods and the power steering resevoir. I bought a remanufactured pump and rack, when I went to bleed the system the fluid went from clear to red. When they remanufacture these things is there a "start up oil" that they put in there that would cause this no leaks no bubbles all o rings were replaced. But the fluid changed colors but it's not "milky" looking. Any ideas? Also what kind of alignment do I need just a basic front wheel alignment? Thanks for your advice!

you'll need a standard 2-wheel alignment.... you can't do any adjustments to the rear since it's a live axle rear end...

Powersteering fluid is just Hydraulic Fluid you could use either
    DOT 3 0r 4
Automatic Transmission Fluid wil do aswell the color is just to show how much temperature it can handle with red being the best.
