Starting issues
HEY,GUYS NEW TO THE SIGHT AND MY 98 CAMARO SS.I,M HAVING A STARTING ISSUE I HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME WITH.WHEN I TRY TO START THE CAR IT WILL TURN OVER BUT NOT FIRE.THE SECURITY LIGHT WILL GO OUT BUT CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON.EVENTUALLY THE CAR WILL START AFTER MANY TRIES.AT THAT POINT A CAN SHUT THE CAR OFF AND START IT RIGHT BACK UP.NOT SURE IF ITS THE CHIPS IN THE KEYS OR THE LOCK CYLINDER ITSELF.THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

My LT1 used to do that but my security light would stay on, i'm not to sure about what yours is doind but, i would have someone check if there is spark. Or maybe if it sits long enough your fuel is falling all the way back to the tank and it takes it a bit to get it back up.

Check plugs and wires.

Are you getting any codes???? If so perhaps your VAT's system needs to be reset........You also may have a FUEL clog....in this case as you start the vehicle in neutral press all the way down on your gas to unclog the system at first, then let off it quickly. This happened to me and my car has been fine ever since. Let us know.....
