Black- 1998 Camaro SS
Ss side emblem
I want to take off the red SS emblem off the 2 sides of the car and put on new ones. Is it a DIY thing and if so how do you do it? Does it matter if its already an aftermarket emblem?

I don't think it matters at all. Just get yourself some dental floss and work it gradually up and down like a saw. Once the emblems are removed, use some WD-40 to wipe off the residual adhesive. You MIGHT have to buff your car as the paint under the old emblems might be deeper than the rest of the paint and might be seen once you put the new emblems on.
