    SS Rear Spoiler Light

Is it possiable to change the small bulbs in the spoiler brake light or do you have to buy a new assembly? If so where can you get the bulbs or the rear spoiler brake light assembly for a 2000 SS

Incorrect information, the #921 bulb is used in the Z28 spoiler, the SS has LED lights, you need to replace the module.

    I hate that crap!!
Went & looked in the manual for the correct info to help this guy & end up being wrong!

Manual says nothing about the SS LEDs!

My apologies for the bad info.....guess I should have looked

I had to replace the entire light on mine. Those stupid LED's are soddered into place.

Be aware,,,the light assemblies that I had found which was labeled as SLP and even had the SLP part number molded into the lens.
When I pulled it out of the box it didn't have the correct plug connector on the wiring.
As a matter of fact it didn't have one at all. Seems they have gotten cheaper in the parts manufacturing process.

The wires were simply stripped and ready. I had to go to GM and grab a pair of the correct wire connectors and plug so the light would simply plug into the original harness.
