squeek
i've had an obnoxious squeek coming from the rear of the car for awhile now, and it's driving me insane. usually i can just turn the radio up, but i'd like to fix the problem. reading through old posts, it sounds like it could be the sway bar bushings, however, i've lubed them down w/white grease and it had no effect. the squeek seems to go away whenever it rains. does this mean it is probably the bushings? or do i just need to get under the car and start tightening stuff up. oh, i've got 138k on the car. thanks in advance.

Your going to have to get under the car and try to pinpoint where the squeek is coming from. There are several places but the chances are it lies in one of the bushings in the rear.

i had the same problem and it turned out to be the shocks rubber mount was the culprit. Greased it up and squeek was gone.
