Wider the gap wider the flame. Smaller the gap more narrow the flame.

Boys and girls...always gap your plugs. I have seen plugs manufactured. They come out the machine and plop into a big bin. Drop down an this roller doohickey. Then they go down this line and get put into boxes. Factory gapped my ass.
    GAP your fricking plugs children!!!!

Well you know what I mean. Cleaned my maf and throttle body. Started changing my spark plugs, driver side looked well but passenger side were very blackened. I'll try and post a pic.

I keep getting lean on bank 2 code, what is going on here?

I cleaned the throttle body with throtle body cleaner and the MAF with MAF cleaner. I replaced the plugs with the TR5's as directed, with .060 gap. Well I actually only replaced 6 of 8. I dont have a garage and it got cold and dark on me as I was changing the plugs, so my car is in my drive way still.

Not bad for cell phone camera

When you have one bank running "off" like that it is usually A) Vacuum or Exhaust leak on that side or B) a bad O2 sensor on that side.

It has got to be a vacum leak them, I just replaced two O2 sensors last year trying to remedy the issue.

Ok I think I finally got it handled. I think it was my PVC hose, it was loose and disconnecting from the driverside. The connection to the rear of the driverside engine was coming up or lifting from its connection. I noticed it while I was changing the spark plugs. I pushed the connection of the PVC hose all the way in. After the changed the remainder of the spark plugs and wires today, I took it ot for a ride. It drove like a bad out of hell. I dont think it has ever performed this well. The sputterring has completely stopped even at high accelaration. However my SES light is still on and as I accelarate at the drive gear, the accelaration seems to be sticking at about 1100 to 1300 RPMs.
I think that may be because it is my spark plugs at the passenger side were being fed a rich fuel ratio and the code stilll has not cleared from the vacccum leak by itself so continues to feed rich. What do you think Sarge?

It should slowly relearn its way back to the correct fueling.

That's what I was thinking. I'll have to check the throttle wire tomorrow. I know I moved the wires around to get to the spark plugs on the passenger side. Make sure the wires are not caught on something.

Ok I am truly convinced that it was the lose PVC hose. I thought I had read on this site that it took 3 uses of the vehicle to clear codes by itself once a problem had been fixed. Well today I checked the throttle wires, which were not the problem. I also used the vehicel twice running the engine to clear the code. On teh third use the code cleared making me think that it was the PVC hose that was causing the big issue.

This is the culprit of it all!!! The damn hose came out of place, all I had to do is put it back into it's spot.
