White- 1998 Trans Am
spun rod bearing
Hey everyone I am new to the forum here. I know you guys have probably answered these questions 4000 times, but I don't have a lot of free time to read through all the posts here...I have a 98 Trans Am that has just spun a rod. Now I am looking to purchase a new long block for a motor swap. Does anyone have suggestions on where I could get one for a reasonable price?
Also, I don't have a huge budget, but since I am going to be putting a new motor in the car anyway, I am looking for some advice on the least expensive ways to beef up the HP during this process. Any simple suggestions would be appreciated.

Try here^^. Why long block? Can't you get a short block and swap over what you need?
