speedo conversion

i was tinkering around the garage earlier today lookin at the projects and relised i had a small problem, so when we do a ls1 tranny swap into a older car or truck how do we get the speedometer to work from a t56 to a old style speedometer being no cable drive system on them?

Check Summit. If I recall, Painless Wiring has a retrofit kit for LSx swaps into older vehicles. Let us know if you need any further help.


Do you have the wiring harnesses as well as the PCM/BCM?

thanks CG i found a guy over at ls1tech who has a machine shop and has done this conversion for several speedshops and is bout half the price, i appriciate the help tho
