Probably your serpintine belt or one of the pullies.

Spray some belt dressing on the belt and see if it goes away. If it does, the problem is your belt is worn. If it doesn't, its probably a pulley with a bad bearing.

So you think all it is, is the belt? Would that make it fairly hard to start?

I would say 105k is low buy I have a 98 TA with 75k and at 70k when I had it tuned we figured out my fuel pump was going when the a/f ratio kept running lean and i couldn't build enough power. Soon as I changed the pump the car started better and jumped 30 hp on the dyno before it was even retuned. Age seems to affect the pump on these cars as much as mileage. I put a 255 in to save the trouble of having to upgrade later.

Not unless you have an accessory that has a bad bearing and has significantly increased turning resistance. Such as if your alternator or power steering pump bearings were bad and the pulley was very hard to turn.

Is there a way to test which one has gone bad? If that happens to be the solution?

Pull the belt off and spin each pulley by hand.

If one doesn't spin freely or makes bad noises, you have found at least part of your problem.

a belt or pulley shouldnt cause a hard start issue. sounds to me like fuel pressure is bleeding off, which is the first sign of a pump going bad.
