Clean and detail your suspension components. You would be surprised what a difference a little elbow grease, newspaper, tape, and spray paint will make. You can also do some simple stuff like the wire hide mod, t/b coolant bypass, and bump stop mod all for little or no money. If it has not been done in a while, pull your caliper pins and clean them. Then lube them with synthetic caliper grease before reinstalling.

The wire hide mod re-routes that mess of wires over the passenger wheel well. The wires are run underneath the metal strut tower and on top of the plastic wheel well liner. Just cleans up the look of the engine bay.
The throttle body coolant bypass is accomplished by removing the coolant lines from the throttle body and connecting them together so that the hot coolant does not circulate around the throttle body.
The bump stop mod ensures WOT. On the side of the throttle body there is a small nub that limits the blade travel. Most cars can not achieve true WOT without removing a small amount of material from the bump stop.
Whether any of the above is worth it is up to you. These are simply small tasks that can be done for little or no coin. You can see each of these in detail at http://installuniversity.com/lsx/cam...documents.html
