solid motor mounts

im thinkin of getting some when i get my tube k-member. any benifit

JoshieDoom answered this in my engine swap thread.

Also, the only tubular K-Member that has solid motor mounts is the Spohn. All the others have mounts for the stock/polyurethane type.

Yup. You can make solid mounts easy though with the tubular k-member

yup, ordered a unwelded solid motor mount kit from Spohn and welded my own up for a customer car. One side was a custom curved shape to accommodate a 4" downpipe on a truck manifold kit and not have to use motor plates ...

Yep. If you have any welding skills what so ever and have a UMI tubular k-member and need solid, some guys made these.
