    If you get a new oil pump you have to have it shimmed to up the pressure, porting it just allows for more oil to flow through.
    u misunderstood me...
    what do u mean by i have to have it shimmed to up the pressure?
    thats what i didnt get and still dont

    my temp is also above what everyone says is normal....
    after stop and go driving it gets above 210 slightly
    should i get a new thermostat?
    i have done a coolant flush...

    You need to verify your gauge is correct with a scan tool first. your gauge could be a little off.
